- Full Moon Circle -
Sunday 8 January
The Yoga Station
Join in circle to connect with likeminded souls and reset for 2023.
Working with the lunar cycles can be a beautiful way to connect to ourselves and the world around us. The moon in her various stages invites us to stop, reflect and bring more consciousness to where we are going, or where we’d like to go, in this life.
The first Full Moon of 2023 provides us with an opportunity to consciously release any baggage we’d like to leave behind in 2022. The Full Moon will be in Cancer, which can teach us about the ebb and flow of life, and illuminate emotions, as well as our deepest vulnerabilities and intuitions.
Following the festive season, we can often feel off-kilter and for some, the new year can bring up heavy emotions or challenge us to look more closely at where we’re at in our lives. So often, we can enter into the new year feeling frumpy and not-so-fond of ourselves, following weeks of indulgence and/or discomfort, as the festive season can bring pain as well as joy to many.
This circle will invite you to start the year as you intend to continue. With gentleness and kindness towards yourself and others. Allowing space to reflect without becoming your worst critic. Nurture yourself this new year, with a beautiful community in circle.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We will sit together in circle and learn a little about working with the lunar cycle and the Full Moon in Cancer. We will tune into the energies that are unique to this part of the lunar calendar and delve deep inside ourselves with some supportive practices. There will be:
– an opening guided meditation
– learning around the lunar cycles
– a reflective journaling practice
– beautiful mantra
– a (surprise!) treat
– energy healing journey with Usui Reiki and Light Language
Want to learn more about Light Language? You can read about it here.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
All are welcome to join in circle (age 18+).
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Please bring a pen and notebook for journaling exercises and some water if you think you’ll be thirsty. Loose fitting clothes are best so you can really get cosy and relaxed – it’s a lovely, warm space. The Yoga Station has yoga mats, blankets and bolsters, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
